They are hydrocolloid patches. Placed over a surfaced spot, the material works like a sponge to absorb oil and pus while covering and protecting the area. The patch turns from clear to white as it absorbs, so you can see when it is done.
What kind of spots are they best for? A:
They work best on spots that have come to a head or are oozing (surfaced whiteheads or popped spots). They are not designed for deep, closed, or under-the-skin blemishes.
Are they medicated? A:
No. Nexcare acne patches are non-medicated and drug-free, they work purely by absorbing and protecting. They are also latex-free.
Can I wear them during the day? A:
Yes. They are thin, transparent, and comfortable, so you can wear them day or night. The discreet design blends in, and they can even be worn under makeup.
How long do I leave one on? A:
Wear it for up to 8 hours, or until it turns white with absorbed fluid, then replace with a fresh one.
