Q1. What is in the set?
A: The Ginseng Cleansing Oil in 210 mL and the Ginseng Essence Water in 150 mL, both full sizes. Beauty of Joseon sells several ginseng sets in different configurations, so check the box you receive.
Q2. Is the cleansing oil the same as the cleansing balm?
A: No. Beauty of Joseon makes both a cleansing oil and a separate cleansing balm, with different textures and formulas. This set contains the oil.
Q3. Do I still need a second cleanser?
A: Yes. The oil is the first step in a double cleanse. Follow it with a foam or gel cleanser.
Q4. Will it remove eye makeup?
A: Yes. The brand states it dissolves mascara and eyeliner without needing a separate remover, and without stinging the eyes.
Q5. What does the essence water do in a routine?
A: It goes on straight after cleansing, before serum and moisturiser. The texture is watery and absorbs immediately.
Q6. Is it suitable for a soy allergy?
A: No. The cleansing oil uses soybean oil as its base at 50%.
