Q1: How is this different from the snail mucin essence?
The essence is a bottled product typically used daily. The COSRX snail mucin sheet mask can be used once or twice weekly and holds an essence-soaked sheet against the skin for a set period.
Q2: Are snails harmed?
Snail secretion filtrate is an animal-derived ingredient, so this mask is not vegan.
Q3: How long do I leave it on?
Leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove the sheet before it dries out.
Q4: Do I rinse afterwards?
No. Pat the remaining essence in and follow with your moisturizer.
Q5: Can I use it with other active ingredients?
Yes, but consider using strong active ingredients on a different night if your skin is reactive.
Q6: Is it fragranced?
No parfum is added. The formula does contain tea tree leaf oil, which carries its own natural scent.
