What does propolis actually do in a toner?
Propolis is a bee-derived resin that is valued in skincare for helping skin feel nourished and comfortable, and for supporting a healthy-looking glow. Here it makes up 72.6% of the formula rather than being a token addition.
Is this toner sticky?
It is slightly viscous, more like a light essence than a watery toner, but it sinks in without leaving a sticky finish. Use a small amount and press it in.
Is it vegan?
No. It contains propolis and honey extract, which are both bee-derived. If you have a bee product allergy, please avoid it or patch test first.
Does it contain fragrance?
No. The formula has no added fragrance, essential oils, silicones, parabens or sulfates, which is part of why the ingredient list is so short.
Can I use it with the Propolis Light Ampoule?
Yes. The brand positions them as a pair, with the toner as the first step and the ampoule layered after.
