Q1: How does the mask heat up? A:
It is self-heating. The heat cell warms up naturally when exposed to air, so the moment you open the sealed pouch, it begins to warm. There is no microwave, hot water, or electricity needed.
Q2: How warm does it get, and for how long? A:
It warms to a comfortable temperature of around 40°C (104°F) and stays warm for roughly 10 to 20 minutes, releasing gentle steam over your closed eyes.
Q3: What does it smell like? A:
This version has a calming lavender scent, which many people find relaxing before bed. If you prefer a scent-free option, MegRhythm also makes an unscented version.
Q4: Can I use it while falling asleep? A:
It is best to stay awake or only rest lightly while using it. Do not use it in a deep sleep, as the warmth and mask may cause discomfort to the delicate eye area. Always follow the safety guidance on the pack.
Q5: Is it reusable? A:
No. Each mask is single-use. Once it has cooled, its warming effect is used up, so discard it after one use.
