Q1: How does the KAO steam eye mask heat up? A:
The mask contains a heat-generating layer that warms on contact with air. As soon as you open the individual pouch, it begins to heat gently to around 40°C. No microwave, water or power is needed.
Q2: How long does the warmth last? A:
About 20 minutes. After that, the mask gradually cools down and is discarded, each mask is single-use.
Q3: Is this version free from added fragrance? A:
Yes. Unlike the scented MegRhythm masks, this one contains no added fragrance, making it a lovely option if you are sensitive to fragranced products.
Q4: Can I sleep in it overnight? A:
No. The masks are designed for around 20 minutes of use. Do not wear one while sleeping, as prolonged contact with warmth can cause low-temperature burns.
Q5: Can I wear it with contact lenses? A:
No. Remove your contact lenses before using the mask.
