Q1: Do I need to scrub afterwards?
No. The effervescent action does the work and you flush it away. That is the point of the format.
Q2: How long should I leave it?
At least two hours, or overnight for heavier staining. Longer contact gives better results.
Q3: Can I mix it with my usual toilet cleaner?
No, and this matters. Never combine it with bleach, an acidic cleaner or any other bathroom product. Mixing oxidising cleaners with acids or bleach can release hazardous gases.
Q4: Will it damage my toilet?
No. It is an oxygen-based system rather than a caustic or strongly acidic one, so it will not damage the ceramic glaze.
Q5: Will it work on the stains under the water?
That is what it is designed for. The fizzing carries the cleaner to the water line and around the bowl, where a brush struggles.
