How is this different from the Scar Cover version?
The Scar Cover patch is a longer wear patch aimed at the marks left behind. This calming version is for active spots and carries tea tree and salicylic acid.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes. The 0.1mm thickness and bevelled edge are specifically designed for that.
How long should I leave it on?
Six to eight hours is the recommendation, and no more than 24 hours per patch.
Does it contain fragrance?
No parfum is added. The formula does contain tea tree leaf oil, which carries its own natural scent.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It contains salicylic acid and tea tree oil, so if your skin reacts to either, a plain hydrocolloid patch is the safer choice.
Why does it turn white?
That is the hydrocolloid absorbing fluid from the spot. It is a sign the patch is doing its job and ready to be changed.
