Q1: Is this a pencil or a brow mascara?
A: It is a pencil. The slim 1.5mm tip draws individual strokes, and there is a spoolie brush at the other end for blending. It is not a brow mascara or a brow gel.
Q2: Why does the thin tip matter?
A: A 1.5mm tip is narrow enough to draw strokes that read as individual hairs. Thicker pencils are faster but tend to fill in a block, which is what makes brows look drawn on.
Q3: Is the formula soft or firm?
A: Firm, described by the brand as pencil like. That is necessary at this tip width, since a soft creamy formula would deposit too much and break.
Q4: What shade is 02?
A: A dark brown. It suits dark brown hair and deeper brow colours.
Q5: Is it fragranced?
A: No. The formula is fragrance free.
Q6: Do I need a separate spoolie?
A: No. One is built into the other end of the pencil, and brushing through with it is what blends the strokes into your natural hair.
