Q1: How is 05 different from the other palettes in the series?
A: It is the shading-focused one, weighted towards neutral browns, taupes and depth shades. The other numbered palettes lean into pinks, corals, ash tones and glitter.
Q2: Do I need brushes?
A: No. The mattes blend well with fingertips and any shimmers are best pressed on with a finger. A small detail brush helps along the lash line.
Q3: Is it beginner-friendly?
A: Yes. Neutral shades are the most forgiving to blend, and the shades are laid out in a suggested order.
Q4: Is it vegan?
A: No. The Better Than Palette range contains carmine, which is insect-derived.
Q5: Can I use the deep shades for shading elsewhere?
A: Many people do use the deeper neutrals softly along the nose or hairline. Blend well and build slowly.
