Q:1 How does it heat up without electricity?
A: Iron powder inside the patch reacts with oxygen once the outer bag is opened. That reaction gives off heat steadily for around 12 hours.
Q:2 Can I stick it directly on my skin?
A: No. It goes on the outside of your clothing. Adhesive warmers applied to bare skin are the main cause of low-temperature burns, and this one reaches 57 °C at maximum.
Q:3 What is a low-temperature burn?
A: A burn caused by prolonged contact with a surface that is warm rather than hot. It can happen at temperatures that feel comfortable, which is why you should not leave a patch in one place for hours without checking.
Q:4 Can I use one overnight?
A: No. Do not use while sleeping or under a duvet. You cannot monitor the skin underneath or remove the patch if it becomes uncomfortable.
