1. How long does one bottle last?
It depends on room size, temperature, airflow and how many reeds you use. Fewer reeds in a cool room will stretch a 70 ml bottle considerably further.
2. Do I need to plug it in?
No. Reed diffusers work by capillary action, so there is no heat, flame or electricity involved.
3. How do I make it stronger?
Add more reeds. To soften it, take some out. Flipping the reeds every week or two also refreshes the scent.
4. What size room does it suit?
A 70 ml bottle suits small to medium spaces such as a bathroom, entryway or bedroom rather than a large open-plan room.
5. Can I refill the bottle?
The Sawaday range includes refill bottles, so it is designed to be topped up rather than replaced. Fit fresh reeds when you refill, as old reeds clog over time and stop drawing the oil properly.
