Q1: Are soft bristles good enough to clean properly?
Yes. Cleaning comes from technique and coverage rather than bristle stiffness. Soft bristles used for a full two minutes clean well and are far less likely to abrade enamel or irritate the gums.
Q2: Why a compact head?
A smaller head reaches the back molars and the inner surfaces of the teeth more easily, which is where most people clean least thoroughly.
Q3: How often should I replace it?
Every three months, or sooner if the bristles splay or lose their shape. A splayed brush cleans poorly.
Q4: How hard should I brush?
Lightly. Brushing hard does not clean better and is a common cause of gum recession and enamel wear.
Q5: Is this suitable for children?
It is an adult brush. Use a brush sized for their age group for young children.
