Q1: What age is this for?
Two to five years. Zettoc makes a separate formulation for children aged six and over, which is when the first permanent teeth typically come through.
Q2: Does it contain fluoride?
No. This variant is formulated without fluoride. If your dentist has recommended a fluoride toothpaste for your child, follow their advice.
Q3: Is it safe if my child swallows some?
It is formulated for an age group still learning to spit, with low foaming and no ethanol. Use a pea-sized amount, supervise brushing, and encourage spitting out. If a large amount is swallowed, contact a poison control centre.
Q4: Why watermelon instead of mint?
Mint reads as spicy to most young children and is the usual reason brushing turns into a battle. A fruit flavour removes that objection.
Q5: How much should I use?
A pea-sized amount is enough for this age group. More does not clean better and simply increases how much gets swallowed.
