KAI -- Eyebrow Razor 5pcs
Kai's Petite range of facial razors comes in several head shapes, and this is the M shape supplied in a five piece set. The shapes exist because brows are not a single shape of job. An L shaped head puts the blade perpendicular to the handle for working at an angle under an arch. A T shaped head gives a symmetrical wide sweep. The M shape sits between them, and the five piece count makes it the most economical format in the range.
Whichever shape you choose, the guard is the part that matters. On a face, and particularly within a centimetre of the eye, the guard limits how much blade can meet the skin at any moment and stops the edge digging in when your wrist angle shifts. That is not a refinement, it is the reason these can be used at all.
Kai has made blades in Gifu prefecture since 1908, across kitchen knives, scissors, nail tools and medical instruments. The same edge finishing goes into the small razors, and the reason to buy a Japanese blade here is straightforward: a sharp edge cuts, while a dull one drags, and dragging is when nicks happen. Five per pack is sized for replacing rather than persisting.

Made In
Japan
● The safety guard limits blade contact, which is what makes a blade usable this close to the eye
● Five per pack is the most economical format in the Petite range, and it means replacing a dulled blade instead of pushing on with it
● The compact head works in the small spaces around the brow where a full size razor cannot go
● The short handle keeps your hand close to the work, which improves control on fine movements
● Kai has manufactured blades in Japan since 1908
● Each razor has its own cover, so they store safely in a washbag or drawer
1. Start with clean, dry skin in good light, with a mirror at eye level so you can see what you are doing.
2. Brush your brow hairs upward with a spoolie so the natural shape and the line you are working to are visible.
3. Hold the skin taut with your free hand. Rest the guard flat against the skin rather than tilting the blade into it.
4. Work in short, light strokes in the direction the hair grows. Do not press and do not go over the same spot repeatedly.
5. Wipe and rinse the blade, then pat the area with a clean towel when you have finished.
6. Dry the razor fully and replace the cover before storing. Discard a razor once it begins to drag rather than cut, and never share it with anyone.

Kai Corporation has manufactured blades in Japan since 1908, beginning with pocket knives in Gifu prefecture and expanding into kitchen knives, scissors, nail tools, razors and medical instruments. The company is known internationally for its kitchen knives, and the same metallurgy and edge finishing underpins its grooming range. Kai's small facial razors are a standard fixture in Japanese drugstores, bought as consumables rather than as a one off purchase. C&C Cosmetics carries the range for Canadian customers.

A: Both are from Kai's Petite range and both have a safety guard. The difference is the head shape and the pack count. The L shape sets the blade perpendicular to the handle, which suits working at an angle beneath the brow arch. This M shape set contains five razors, making it the better value option if you use them regularly.
A: Five, each with its own blade cover.
A: The guard over the blade limits how much edge meets the skin, which is what makes these usable on the face. Work in good light, hold the skin taut, keep the guard flat and use short light strokes. Stop if you feel the blade dragging.
A: It depends on how often you use it. Replace a razor as soon as it stops cutting cleanly, because a dull blade on the face is what causes nicks. Five per pack is sized around that.
A: Yes. These are commonly used for fine facial hair as well as brows. Avoid irritated or broken skin, blemishes and moles.
