KAI Eyebrow Razor Pretty L 3pcs
The Pretty range is Kai's line of small facial razors, and this is the L shaped version supplied in a three piece set. The shape is the functional part. An L shaped head puts the blade perpendicular to a short straight handle, which gives you a different angle of approach than a standard razor allows. For working along the underside of a brow or around the outer corner, that angle is the difference between precise and approximate.
Each razor has a guard over the blade. On a face, and particularly around the brow, the guard is not an optional refinement: it limits how much blade can contact the skin at once and keeps the edge from digging in when the angle shifts. Kai has been making blades in Japan since 1908, across kitchen knives, scissors, nail tools and grooming products, and the edge quality on these is the reason they are a standard pick in Japanese drugstores.
The three piece set reflects how these are meant to be used. A small blade dulls with use, and a dull blade on the face drags rather than cuts, which is when nicks happen. Having three means replacing rather than persisting.

Made In
Japan
● The L shaped head gives an angle of approach a standard razor cannot reach, particularly under the brow
● The safety guard limits blade contact, which is what makes a blade usable this close to the eye
● The short handle keeps your hand near the work, which improves control on small movements
● Three per set means replacing a dulled blade rather than pushing on with it, which is when nicks happen
● Kai has manufactured blades in Japan since 1908
● Compact enough to keep in a washbag or a drawer
1. Start with clean, dry skin. Make sure the area is well lit and you can see clearly, ideally with a mirror at eye level.
2. Brush your brow hairs upward with a spoolie so you can see the natural shape and the line you are working to.
3. Hold the skin taut with your free hand. Rest the guard flat against the skin rather than tilting the blade into it.
4. Work in short, light strokes in the direction the hair grows. Do not press, and do not go over the same spot repeatedly.
5. Wipe the blade clean, rinse it, and pat the area with a clean towel when you have finished.
6. Dry the razor fully and replace the cover before storing. Discard a razor once it starts to drag rather than cut, and never share it with anyone.

Kai Corporation has manufactured blades in Japan since 1908, beginning with pocket knives in Gifu prefecture and expanding into kitchen knives, scissors, nail tools, razors and medical instruments. The company is known internationally for its kitchen knives, and the same metallurgy and edge finishing underpins its grooming range. Kai's small facial razors are a standard fixture in Japanese drugstores, bought as consumables rather than as a one off purchase. C&C Cosmetics carries the range for Canadian customers.

A: It sets the blade perpendicular to a short straight handle, which gives a different angle of approach than a standard razor. That matters most when working along the underside of a brow.
A: The guard over the blade limits how much edge meets the skin, which is what makes these usable on the face. Work in good light, hold the skin taut, keep the guard flat against the skin and use short light strokes. Stop if you feel the blade dragging.
A: Three, each with its own blade cover.
A: It depends on use. Replace a razor as soon as it starts dragging rather than cutting cleanly, since a dull blade on the face is what causes nicks. Three per pack is designed around that.
A: Yes. These are commonly used for fine facial hair as well as brows. Avoid irritated or broken skin, blemishes and moles.
