Sanitary pads in Japan are built around a different priority than most Western ones. Rather than bulk, the engineering goes into thinness and absorption speed, based on the idea that a pad you cannot feel is one you stop thinking about. Laurier is Kao's feminine care brand and the line most people encounter first, and the 25cm super slim is its standard day-use size.
The construction is what separates it. The surface layer draws fluid downward quickly rather than letting it spread across the top, which is what keeps the skin feeling dry rather than damp. Underneath, the absorbent core locks it in place. The result is a sanitary napkin that stays noticeably thinner than the absorbency would suggest, so it disappears under clothing instead of creating a visible line.
At 25cm with wings, this is the long day-use size rather than an overnight one. It covers a full working day comfortably on a moderate flow and holds up on heavier days with more frequent changes. Kao also makes shorter lengths for lighter days, and a separate pantyliner range for the tail end of a cycle or for daily freshness, which is a different product category entirely.

Laurier is Kao Corporation's feminine care brand and has been a fixture in Japanese pharmacies for decades. Kao's approach across the range is consistent: reduce thickness without giving up absorbency, and put the engineering into the surface layer so the skin stays dry rather than simply containing fluid. The line covers day pads in several lengths, overnight pads up to 40cm, liners and shorts-type pads, with the packaging designed to be discreet enough to leave out. Laurier products are available in Canada through C&C Canada.
● Pantyliner range: Laurier also makes liners for light days, the end of a cycle or daily freshness. These are a separate, much lighter product and are not a substitute for a pad on a flow day.
● Shorter pad lengths for lighter days
● Longer overnight pads for night use
● Sanitary shorts for overnight and heavy-flow security
Cautions
● Single use. Dispose of after one wear.
● Do not flush. Wrap and place in a bin.
● Change regularly. Leaving a pad in place too long is uncomfortable and unhygienic.
● Discontinue use if you experience skin irritation, redness or itching, and consult a healthcare professional if it persists.
● Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
● Keep out of reach of small children.
● 17 individually wrapped Laurier super slim sanitary pads, 25cm with wings

Day. It is the long day-use size and suits a full working day on a moderate flow. Laurier's overnight pads run considerably longer, up to 35cm and 40cm.
Every four to six hours on heavier days, less often on lighter ones. Regular changing matters more than absorbency capacity.
No. Liners are a separate, much thinner product for light days, the end of a cycle or daily use. A 25cm pad is a full-flow product. Laurier makes both.
Yes. The wings fold around the gusset of your underwear and hold the pad in place.
Laurier makes both scented and fragrance-free versions across its range. Check the pack for the specific variant.
