The bottom of a narrow-necked water bottle can be difficult to clean with a brush or sponge. This stainless steel bottle cleaner makes it easy. Fill your bottle with lukewarm water, drop in a tablet and let it work.

The oxygen-based formula fizzes and spreads through the whole bottle, breaking down the tea and coffee stains that build up over time. After approximately two hours, pour out the solution and rinse the inside of the bottle thoroughly with water. For heavy stains, leave it overnight.

It works on stainless steel, plastic, ceramic and non-stick coated bottles and cups, so it's also a handy thermos cleaner and travel mug cleaner. Use it weekly to keep your bottles fresh.

1. Fill the bottle or mug with lukewarm water (about 40°C).

2. Add 1 tablet per 350 ml of water. For larger bottles, use approximately 2 tablets for up to 700 ml or 3 tablets for up to 1,050 ml.

3. Leave both the lid and inner lid open for approximately 2 hours, or overnight for heavy stains. Never seal the bottle during cleaning.

4. Pour out the cleaning solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with clean water. If residue remains, gently scrub with a sponge and rinse again.

5. Place the manufacturer's cleaning-warning sticker prominently on the bottle while the cleaning solution is inside. Do not drink from the bottle during cleaning.

Ingredient Claims:

• Do not use water at 60°C or above. The recommended cleaning-water temperature is approximately 40°C.

• Do not close the lid while cleaning.

• Not for aluminium, copper, brass or iron, or items with gold or silver decoration.

• If it gets in the eyes, don't rub. Rinse with running water for 15 minutes and see a doctor.

• Keep out of reach of children and people who may accidentally ingest the product. Do not swallow the tablets or cleaning solution. Do not induce vomiting if swallowed; seek immediate advice from a poison centre or healthcare professional.

• Avoid direct contact with the cleaning solution. People prone to hand irritation should wear protective gloves. If the solution contacts the skin, rinse thoroughly with water.

• Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Use each tablet promptly after opening its individual wrapper.
