Product Description
Gentiana grows high in the Himalayas, above 1,700 metres, and it is the ingredient this mask is built around. The chando mask in the Gentiana Brightening format comes five to a box, each sheet holding a generous 26ml of essence.
The formula is short for a sheet mask and the ordering tells you a lot. Niacinamide sits sixth, high enough to be doing real work, and Gentiana scabra extract, tremella fuciformis sporocarp extract and portulaca oleracea extract fill out the plant side. Urea, trehalose and sodium hyaluronate handle the moisture. The sheet itself is plant-based biodegradable fibre rather than standard non-woven, and it is what the brand calls a Micropatch hydration net, combining large and small molecules to hold moisture against the skin.
This suits normal, dry and dull-looking skin. The brand states the formula contains no artificial fragrance, colourant, alcohol or preservatives, which makes it a reasonable option for skin that reacts to scented masks.
