The base is water with butylene glycol, trehalose and glycerin, which keeps it from drying the lips the way some stains do, and pomegranate, raspberry and grape juices sit at the end of the list as the fruit complex ETUDE names. The texture is genuinely watery, absorbs within seconds and leaves colour behind with no stickiness at all. That absence of tack is the main reason this line has stayed popular for years.
Strawberry Ade suits most undertones as a bright everyday red. Apply from the inner lip outward for a gradient, or build it up for a full lip. Note that the formula contains fragrance and two colourants.
