Product Description
Collagen products usually put the collagen near the bottom of the list. This one puts it second, directly after water, and prints the concentration on the box. The ETUDE Moistfull Collagen Toner is a 200ml bottle with a watery, essence-like texture.
The formula is short at 17 ingredients. Hydrolyzed collagen sits second at 205,600ppm, and the molecules are broken down small enough that the brand markets them as more readily taken up by the skin. Hydrolyzed lupine protein, from white lupin, sits near the end alongside beta-glucan and tocopherol. Glycerin, propanediol and betaine handle the moisture side. The texture is thicker than a watery toner but thinner than an essence, and it absorbs without stickiness.
This suits dry and normal skin as a first step after cleansing. Two things to know: alcohol denat. sits fifth, which is worth knowing if your skin reacts to it, and the formula contains hydrolyzed collagen, so it is not vegan.
