The ceramide content is the point. Ceramide NP sits alongside hydroxypropyl bispalmitamide MEA and cholesterol, which together provide two of the three lipid types found in skin. Around them sit Panax ginseng root water and a set of Korean herbal root extracts including bupleurum, angelica and ophiopogon, plus perilla seed extract and natto gum. The formula is fragrance-free, colourant-free and mild enough that ILLIYOON markets the wider Ato range for babies and children as well as adults. It works on hair as well as body, which makes it a useful single product for a household.

1. Wet your skin and hair with lukewarm water.

2. Dispense an appropriate amount onto wet hands or a body sponge.

3. Work it into a lather.

4. Massage the lather over the body, and through the hair and scalp if you are using it that way.

5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water rather than hot.

6. Pat dry and follow with a body lotion or cream while the skin is still slightly damp.
