The charcoal is doing real work rather than sitting there for effect. Fine charcoal particles carry adsorption pores that pick up food residue and surface debris, and they sit alongside silica as the cleaning system. That is what makes this a charcoal toothpaste rather than a novelty item with black dye in it.

1.     Apply a pea-sized amount to a soft-bristled toothbrush.

2.     Brush thoroughly for at least two minutes, covering all tooth surfaces.

3.     Rinse the mouth thoroughly. The black paste rinses away completely.

4.     Spit out. Do not swallow.

5.     Use morning and evening.

6.     Rinse the sink after brushing, as the black paste is more visible than a white one.

7.     Store with the cap closed, somewhere cool and dry.
