Overview

There are three ways to keep a toilet bowl clean between scrubs: a hanging rim block, a drop-in tablet, or something stuck directly to the porcelain. Kobayashi's Decoral takes the third route, and it is the tidiest of the three. You press the tube against the inside of the bowl and squeeze, and a small flower of gel forms and adheres to the surface, above the waterline.

From there it works passively. Every flush carries water over the gel, releasing cleaning agents that discourage the grime ring from forming at the waterline, along with the fragrance. Nothing hangs off the rim getting in the way, nothing sits in the water discolouring it, and the water that flows stays colourless. Within the kobayashi canada range this is the format that suits people who dislike the look of a rim block.

One tube covers two applications, one on each side of the bowl, and each application lasts roughly ten days to two weeks. With three tubes in a pack, that is a long stretch of coverage. Anyone looking to buy japanese toilet cleaner canada stock for the first time tends to start here or with the drop-in tablets, and the two do different jobs.

Got questions? We’ve got answers!

Q1: Is this a tablet?

No. It is a stamp-on gel that you press onto the inside of the bowl. Kobayashi's drop-in effervescent tablets are a separate product that goes into the water and works as an occasional deep clean.

Q2: Where exactly do I apply it?

On a flat area inside the bowl, above the waterline, one application on each side. Applying to two spots spreads the cleaning agents more evenly around the bowl.

Q3: Will it colour the water blue?

No. Despite the Bluelet name, the flush water from this product stays colourless.

Q4: How long does one application last?

Around 10 days to two weeks, depending on how often the toilet is flushed and the water temperature. One tube gives two applications.

Q5: Does it replace scrubbing?

No. It slows the buildup of grime at the waterline between cleans. You will still need to scrub periodically.
