MISSHA Perfect Cover BB Cream #27 50ml

The MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream is the product most people outside Korea encountered BB cream through. It sits between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation: more coverage than the former, less weight than the latter, with skincare ingredients worked into the base.

Shade No.27 Honey Beige is the deepest in the core range, sitting below No.23 Natural Beige and No.25 Warm Beige. Korean base ranges are notoriously narrow at the deeper end, so if you have found Korean bases too light, 27 is the one to try before assuming the brand will not work for you.

The sun protection comes from a combined system: ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate as the chemical filter with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as mineral filters, rated SPF 42 PA+++. Alongside those sit arbutin, adenosine, hydrolyzed collagen, Ceramide NP, squalane and sodium hyaluronate. As a Missha BB Cream Canada the 50 g tube is the standard full size.

1.     Start with cleansed, moisturised skin.

2.     Squeeze out a small amount, roughly pea-sized to start.

3.     Dot across the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin.

4.     Blend outward with a damp sponge, a brush or your fingertips.

5.     Build a second layer only where you need more coverage.

6.     Set with a light powder if you have oily skin or want longer wear.

7.     Remove thoroughly at the end of the day with an oil or balm cleanser followed by a water-based one.
