Motonozen's single sided eyelid tape creates the appearance of a crease by sitting inside the fold rather than by sticking two surfaces of skin together. That distinction is the whole difference between the single and double sided formats, and it matters in practice.
Double sided tape bonds the upper and lower parts of the lid to each other. It holds firmly, but it is also more visible when the eye is open and less forgiving if the placement is slightly off. Single sided tape adheres to the lid on one face only, tucks into the crease, and supports the fold from inside it. The result reads as more natural, and because only one surface is adhesive, repositioning is easier while you are learning.
The S size measures 16 x 2mm, which is the narrow option in the range and suited to a subtler result or to a smaller eye shape. The L size is 27 x 3mm for comparison. Seventy two pieces per pack is a working quantity rather than a sample.
A realistic note. Nobody gets this right on the first attempt. Finding the placement that works for your eye shape takes a few tries, and the sensible approach is to accept that the first several pieces are practice.
