SKINFOOD Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder

A setting powder either sits on the skin or disappears into it, and the difference is how finely it is milled. SKINFOOD uses an air-spun process here, which produces a powder light enough that it blurs rather than coats. 

The oil control comes from silica, which absorbs sebum and sweat through the day, with boron nitride giving the soft-focus quality that stops a matte finish looking flat and dry. Peach fruit extract and calamine sit in the formula alongside them.

It works as a face powder over base makeup, or on bare skin if you just want to take the shine down. Some people also use it at the roots on a greasy hair day, which is where the "multi finish" name comes from. 1.     Apply after your base makeup, or on bare moisturised skin.

2.     Tap a small amount of powder onto the puff.

3.     Press and roll the puff over the face rather than sweeping it, concentrating on the T-zone.

4.     Build only where you need it. A little goes a long way with a powder this fine.

5.     Reapply through the day to take down shine.

6.     Close the lid firmly and keep the puff clean.
