The formula is a blend of waxes combined with camellia japonica seed oil, argan oil and baobab seed oil, along with hydrolyzed silk and modified corn starch to help prevent a tacky finish. 1.     Finish your hairstyle first. Matomage is a finishing step, not a base.

2.     Twist the base to raise the stick, exposing about two to three millimetres of wax.

3.     Glide the flat face of the stick directly onto the flyaways or loose strands you want to smooth.

4.     Press down gently with your palm or a brush to set the hairs into place.

5.     Build up in thin passes rather than pressing hard, which can leave white residue.

6.     Twist the stick back down and close the cap firmly after use.
