1. Which shade should I pick?

01 Gray Brown is the cool-toned option, made for ash, cool brown and black hair. 03 Natural Brown is the mid-toned neutral. If warm pencils have pulled orange on you, go with 01.

2. How fine is the tip?

Ultra-fine. It is designed to draw individual hair strokes rather than fill in a shape.

3. Do I need to sharpen it?

No. It is retractable, so you twist up a small amount as you need it.

4. How do I stop it looking drawn on?

Use short light strokes in the direction the hair grows, build gradually, and brush through with the spoolie at the end. The spoolie step matters most.

5. Is the spoolie included?

Yes, on the opposite end of the pencil.
