1.     Wet hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water.

2.     Dispense an appropriate amount into your palms, more for long or thick hair.

3.     Massage into the scalp with your fingertips rather than your nails, working up a lather.

4.     Work the lather down through the lengths.

5.     Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.

6.     Follow with a conditioner or treatment on the mid-lengths and ends if you use one.
