KAO Liese Foam Hair Color Blue Gray

Instead of mixing a cream and painting it on section by section, you combine two liquids in the bottle, pump out a foam, and massage it through dry hair with your hands. The back of your head, where home colour usually goes wrong, gets covered as easily as the front.

Liese Hair Color in Blue Gray is a cool ash grey with a blue cast running through it. The blue is what cancels orange, which is why this shade exists: it is aimed at hair that has been lightened and is pulling warm. On unlightened dark hair it will show as a faint cool tint at most, not the shade on the box. Pre-lightening is not optional for this one.

It is a proper oxidative dye. The first liquid carries the colour precursors and the second contains hydrogen peroxide, which makes the colour permanent rather than a wash-out tint. 1.     Perform a skin allergy patch test 48 hours before colouring. Do this before every use, even if you have used this product before.

2.    If the product is cold or warm, leave it at room temperature, around 20 to 30 degrees, for about an hour before mixing. Put on the gloves provided. Add the first liquid to the second and mix as directed in the leaflet.

3.     Pump the bottle to produce foam and apply generously to dry hair.

4.     Massage through with your fingers, working from the roots down through the lengths until evenly covered.

5.     Leave for 20 to 30 minutes.

6.     Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear, then shampoo and apply the included treatment. Keep the foam and rinse water away from the eyes. Rinse immediately with water if any gets in.
