VT Pro Cica Reedle Shot 100 2-Step Hydrogel Mask

The Reedle Shot mask takes VT's best known product, the Pro Cica Reedle Shot 100, and pairs it with a hydrogel sheet in a single-use format. Step 1 is the Reedle Shot essence itself, which contains microscopic spicules that give the formula its distinctive tingle and prepare the surface of the skin. Step 2 is a jelly-textured hydrogel mask that follows on top.

That sequence is the whole idea. The essence goes on first and absorbs, then the hydrogel sheet sits over it and keeps everything in place while you wear it. The VT Cica Reedle Shot line is aimed squarely at skin that feels reactive or unsettled, so both steps lean on centella asiatica, panthenol, allantoin and beta-glucan.

Neither step lists fragrance. The tingling sensation people describe is the spicules, not an added scent or an acid. Wear time is flexible: 20 to 40 minutes is standard, and the VT hydrogel mask can be left on longer if you want a more saturated result.

1.     Cleanse in the evening and pat the skin dry.

2.     Apply all of the Step 1 Reedle Shot essence evenly across the face and let it absorb fully. A light tingling sensation is normal.

3.     Take out the Step 2 hydrogel mask and peel away the backing films.

4.     Place the lower piece around the mouth and jaw first, then the upper piece around the eyes, and smooth both into place.

5.     Adjust the fit within the first minute or two while the hydrogel is still flexible.

6.     Remove after 20 to 40 minutes, or leave on longer for a more saturated finish.

7.     Pat the remaining essence into the skin and follow with the rest of your routine.
