VT Reedle Shot 700 2-Step Mask

Reedle Shot is the range that made VT Cosmetics a household name in Korean skincare. The signature ingredient is a silica-derived spicule, a microscopic needle-shaped particle, which is what produces the distinctive prickling feel when the essence is spread onto the skin. VT offers the essence at several strengths, and 700 is the highest concentration in the 2-Step Mask format, so it is positioned as the once-a-week option rather than a daily one.

Step 1 is the Reedle Shot 700 essence itself, in a 1.5 g single-dose sachet. Alongside the silica, it carries niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, glyceryl glucoside, centella asiatica extract with its asiaticoside and madecassoside fractions, aloe leaf extract, propolis extract and astaxanthin. Step 2 is the Reedle Shot Soft Deep sheet mask, which holds an essence built around glycerin, niacinamide, panthenol, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, birch juice, houttuynia cordata extract and further centella fractions.

Because Step 1 is the strongest essence in the mask line-up, VT recommends starting with a milder Reedle Shot strength and working up, using this one no more than once a week, applying it in the evening, and wearing sunscreen the following morning. Both steps are formulated without added fragrance.

1.     Cleanse in the evening and follow with your toner. Skin should be clean and dry before Step 1.

2.     Open the STEP 1 sachet and spread the Reedle Shot 700 essence evenly across the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.

3.     Massage gently until absorbed. A light tingling or prickling sensation at this stage is expected.

4.     Open the STEP 2 pouch, unfold the sheet mask and lay it onto the face so it sits flat against the skin.

5.     Leave the sheet on for 10 to 20 minutes.

6.     Remove the sheet and pat the remaining essence into the skin. Do not rinse.

7.     Follow with the rest of your evening routine. Apply a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 the next morning.
