LIESE Foam Hair Colour uses a two-part foaming system designed to make at-home application more convenient than traditional cream-dye application. Instead of mixing a cream and painting it on in sections, you combine two liquids in the bottle, pump out a foam, and massage it through dry hair with your hands. The foam can help with application to harder-to-reach areas, although even coverage depends on proper technique and sufficient product.

LIESE Lavender Greige is an ash-toned grey-brown shade with a lavender-inspired undertone: a muted ashy grey-brown with a lavender undertone running through it. The lavender-inspired and ash-toned colour profile is intended to create a cooler-looking finish. Results depend on the starting hair colour and condition.

That said, ash and lavender tones are the least forgiving on unlightened hair. On dark, unlightened hair, the result may be less noticeable or differ from the shade shown on the packaging. Consult the manufacturer's colour chart before use. This is worth knowing before you order rather than after.

This is a proper oxidative dye. The first liquid contains oxidative dye precursors, while the second contains hydrogen peroxide developer. Together, they form an oxidative hair-colouring system. The safety steps are therefore not optional: a skin allergy test 48 hours before every single use, every time, even if you have used the product before.

1.     Perform a skin allergy patch test 48 hours before colouring. Do this before every use, even if you have used this product before.

2.     Allow the product to reach the temperature specified in the manufacturer's instructions before mixing. Do not heat the dye or developer.

3.     Put on the gloves provided. Combine the two liquids in the exact order specified in the enclosed leaflet. Mix only as instructed, and use the prepared mixture immediately.

4.     Pump the bottle to produce foam and apply generously to dry hair.

5.     Distribute the foam through the hair using gloved hands, following the manufacturer's application sequence. Avoid unnecessary rubbing of the scalp.

6.     Leave on only for the processing time specified in the enclosed instructions. Do not exceed the recommended time.

7.     Rinse thoroughly and follow the manufacturer's instructions for shampooing and applying the included treatment.

8.     Avoid contact with eyes. If the mixture enters the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and seek medical advice as directed on the package. Never use the product on eyebrows or eyelashes.

Note: Do not store or reuse leftover mixed dye. Follow the manufacturer's disposal instructions.
